This is my dog Blossom. Blossom is a boy! I know, I know how humiliating for him. But it does fit him. Hush! It really does!He was a rescue and I got him four years ago. He was so scared of everything and everyone. I worked so hard for him to trust me and to open up. He goes everywhere with me and I go everywhere with him! He hikes with me, he sleeps with me, and he goes to work with me.
I adore him. Don't you?
My date was okay, but he was not real. He talked of things that he thought would impress me. He tried to show me how smart he was, and oh what a future he had! He was oh so busy all the time and he had so many great ideas about what he was going to do with his life.
I don't care about such things.
The house that I rent sits on three acres and is on top of a hill. I came home for my date and Blossom was waiting for me. We sat outside together and watched the sunset and we sat really, really close and loved each other. I think I am going to wait for a boy that wants to sit with Blossom and I on top of the hill. Lots of boys would you know.

Blossom is adorable. A few nights ago I sat on my backporch and ate an ice cream bar and watched a thunderstorm roll in. The ice cream bar had chocolate, so I didn't share it with my dogs, who soon got bored and went to sleep. It was one of the nicest evenings I've had in ages.
